Below is our typical refurbishment procedure:

The machine is dismantled into its component parts.

All component parts are cleaned and disinfected properly to remove dirt, bacteria and odours.

We bench test the motor and replace it if it is not running perfectly.

The roller bearings are lubricated and replaced as necessary.

The brush roller bristles are checked for efficient length.

The electrical cable, internal wiring and electrical components are checked for safety.

All hoses and seals are examined and replaced as necessary.

The Dyson is rebuilt, using clean filters and made to operate with full suction as if it were new again.

We are confident that our refurbished machines are of an excellent standard. We offer our no quibble six-month guarantee on all refurbished machines, together with free local delivery.

Be cautious about other purveyors of reconditioned Dysons. Many operate only on the internet or from car boot sales and offer no physical address. This means you dont know who they are or what they actually do to their machines. You have no recourse if you are sold a faulty machine by a fly-by-night, internet-only or car boot sale seller.

Your Dyson DC01 will be delivered to you by tracked DHL courier*

Reconditioned machines may show minor external scratches and blemishes; those it is not possible to remove during the refurbishment process. These do not affect the operation of the machine in any way.

Guarantee information: We offer a six months “no quibble” return-to-base guarantee on all reconditioned Dysons we sell. This means that in the unlikely event of your machine malfunctioning within the guarantee period, you are responsible for getting the machine back to us (or the shipping cost to do so). We will pay to return it back to you in this event. We do not build machines with the intent of having to repair them again in the future; we do our utmost to get it right the first time!

* There are certain locations that DHL will not deliver to: Some parts of the Scottish highlands and islands and other remote places. If you live in such a place, we may use an alternative carrier to facilitate delivery to you.
